WHO THE F@CK IS BOHOCHICKEN?
The OG’s remember the first BOHOCHICKEN blog circa 2012.
Writing has always been a natural avenue for me to express and explore my inner thoughts and ideas. A tool I’ve used to deepen the connection within myself and now with all of you on the other side of the screen.
I come from a long lineage of creatively driven tastemakers, or as some would put it “high-class hoarders” with an obsession for all things beautiful. Leaving me in an endless overflow of curiosities, creative ideas and niche obsessions. For as long as I can remember I have longed to find one place to hold them all, so here they will live. With all of that being said, so many exciting things are on the pipeline with nou and I want to take you with me.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
When it comes to my work I spend most days scouring the world in search of the best vintage I can get my hands on for my vintage studio, nou. I live in a constant pursuit of chasing the high of adrenaline one gets when they discover a beautiful object that has endless stories to tell.
My philosophy is simple: I don’t share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear or purchase myself. I don’t just sell vintage, I’m a tastemaker. Describing my goods as hand picked doesn’t quite cut it. I’m sharing my vision with you. Each piece is a showcase of a sliver of my mind. It’s hours of research and discovery. It’s hedging bets. It’s doing THE WORK on myself so my intuition is strong and clear. I’ll be digging in the most random of corners and come out with just 5 pieces I truly believe in. Hand carrying them home just for you. Trying everything on to make sure it fits and feels right. Often paying a premium that doesn’t make sense for resell, but when I love something I love hard (if you know me, you know this flows outside of the lines of my work).
