There’s a new kind of church in downtown LA. The kind where the pews are lined with Birkins, the altar is lit by the glow of mirrored walls, and the only sin is walking out empty-handed. Fashionphile’s new Los Angeles flagship isn’t just a store, it’s a fever dream for anyone who’s ever justified a purchase with “investment piece.”
I went in for research. I left emotionally attached. Here’s what I loved most:
1. Bags to match all of my personalities. You need to get your hands on this rare Fendi Baguette.
2. Bars I’d gladly get behind. Serving a life sentence in good taste.
3. Selfie mirrors with lighting so good, I considered a residency. And could not stop staring at this rare Chanel belt.
4. The Book of Iconic Bags. A sacred text in this particular religion.
5. The Chanel I would leave my boyfriend for. (Not, not joking.)
6. Big Daddy Dior. Enough said.
7. I live here now. Emotionally, at least.
All in all, I walked away lighter in spirit, hungover on handbags, and fully converted.
